The Turkish side are thought to be prepared to offer £12m for Podolski or Gervinho, as Galatasaray plot to add another big-name player to their squad that was recently bolstered by the arrivals of Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba.
Podolski got the nod ahead of Gervinho to start in the central striker role for Arsenal against Manchester United last weekend, and was replaced by the Ivorian in the second half as both failed to get on the scoresheet.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has publicly backed his under-performing pair of strikers to come good, although neither have been regulars in the team this season.

Podolski has been used predominantly from the bench since the end of January, with the German being forced to deny reports he is leaving after just one year in North London, with Atletico Madrid and Juventus interested.

Gervinho was revealed as a Galatasaray target by Express Online in March, with Wenger happy to sanction the sale of one of the two as he looks to bring in £24m forward Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina.

Gala are thought to prefer a move for Germany international Podolski, although Gervinho may prove an easier target to secure.
